Welcome to OffLabel. By installing or using the OffLabel browser extension (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old to use OffLabel. The Service is intended only for adults. By installing or using it, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Service.

1. What OffLabel is — and is not

OffLabel is an educational, informational tool only. It reads the ingredient list shown on a product page and gives an opinion, personalized to a profile you create, about how those ingredients may suit you. It is NOT medical, dermatological, health, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Always consult a doctor or dermatologist for any medical concern, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something OffLabel said.

2. AI limitations — please read

OffLabel's verdicts are generated by an AI model and can be incomplete, inaccurate, out of date, or simply wrong. The ingredient lists are read automatically from third-party retailer pages and may be incorrect, outdated, or missing items. OffLabel may miss an ingredient you are allergic or sensitive to. Do not rely on OffLabel as the sole basis for any purchase or use decision.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any verdict is correct.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OffLabel and its operators, owners, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any personal injury, allergic reaction, skin or hair reaction, or other harm, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if advised of the possibility. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless OffLabel and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.

Ingredient and product information is sourced from third-party retailer pages that we do not control or endorse. Product names and brands are the property of their respective owners; OffLabel is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brand or retailer. Verdicts and scores are OffLabel's subjective, personalized opinion — not statements of fact about a product's safety, quality, or a brand.
